To manufacture the different parts of our organs, our craftspeople work in our workshops, in the metal trades (foundry, piping, assembly), in the wood trades (cabinet making and carpentry), but also in the voicing and assembly workshops.
These various workshops are made up of both experienced craftspeople (some of whom have been working at Casavant for several decades) and new recruits.
We are committed to sharing our passion and know-how with the youngest members of our team.
Whether they are specialized in cabinet-making, tinsmithing, music or architecture, they are initiated on site to the specificities of the organ-building trades, in an apprenticeship environment.
Our employees are proud to belong to a flagship of Québec entrepreneurship that is respected throughout the world. Working with noble materials, they also have the unique privilege of witnessing all the different phases of organ building in the same location. In this way, they can make a tangible contribution to the creation of a unique artistic achievement.
