For more than 140 years, Casavant has kept series of important documents, virtually covering all the organs built in its workshops as well as installation sites. This documentation becomes particularly valuable when the time comes to repair, restore or relocate heritage organs.

In addition to our large collection of photos, letters of correspondence and artefacts, few house made phonographs circa 1919 are to be found in the historical house, an still produce a charming sound!

Possessing an ever-growing library of books, music scores and audiovisual material, Casavant is committed to preserving its history and knowledge for generations to come.
