Opus 3866, 2007

Everyone here at Sandersville United Methodist church is thrilled with our new Casavant pipe organ Opus 3866!
Our congregation continues to comment on the “new” sounds and how well the organ supports their hymn singing. Sandersville United Methodist church has always been known for her rich heritage of music; the installation of this new pipe organ adds to this tradition.
In the end, the pipe organ speaks for itself. Opus 3866 is a little jewel that works perfectly in our worship space. It has enough versatility to keep any organist happy playing solo literature, accompanies solo and choir singing very well, and most importantly, leads and supports congregational hymn singing in a full but not overpowering way.
We are proud to be a part of Casavant’s long history of organ building and look forward to hearing the organ played for years to come. Our committee felt compelled to select a builder with your experience and expertise when faced with the decision of what company to choose. Our people realized that a pipe organ would outlive all of us and that it was an important gift for our children and grandchildren to enjoy. Such a gift (a work of art) required a company with impeccable standards. We chose Casavant – of course.
